At the top of our carbon-neutral roadmap are renewable energy use, process heat recovery, and waste minimization. By partially or fully sourcing TPU’s main components from bio-based materials, we have achieved a biocontent rate of over 75%, with a goal of reaching 100%. We have introduced a 100% bio-based product to our polyester polyol product range, and we contribute to the green economy with recyclable TPU composites. Through investments in sustainable technologies, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and create long-term value in the industry.

Zero Waste

 

In line with our understanding of environmental sustainability, we prioritize reducing waste generation from our production processes and ensuring the recovery of waste generated.

By protecting our natural resources, we produce circular solutions that contribute to the economy. With this vision, we are working towards a cleaner future by adopting a zero-waste approach.

 


 

Water Management

 

We collect and store rainwater at our factories, using it in our processes and wet areas. This practice saves up to 7,500 tons of water per year.

In wet areas, we use water-saving, sensor-equipped faucets to minimize unnecessary consumption.
Our processes operate with a closed-loop water system,  allowing us to save approximately 10,000 tons of water annually.

Waste Heat Recovery

 

The waste heat generated from the hot oil unit is recovered through an economizer unit to enhance energy efficiency and ensure the effective use of resources. In this system, the high temperature of flue gases is captured by the economizer heat exchanger and utilized to produce hot water for both process operations and domestic use throughout the facility.

The hot water produced is applied in process heating for production lines and CIP systems, and is also distributed via storage tanks to supply heating and domestic hot water in social and administrative areas. This approach not only delivers energy savings in production processes but also supports a sustainable heat management system across the entire facility.
